“The time’s gone really quickly since I arrived in Jersey in January 2014 – it’s been quite a journey.
I’m really proud to be going into my 10th season with the Reds and of the way the club has grown in that time. It’s an honour to be awarded a testimonial, especially by a club that I care so much about. It’s been great to see Jersey Reds at the top-end of the Championship this season, but I also truly believe there’s so much more to come.
This testimonial year aims to reach out to all parts of the community as a way of thanking everyone for all the support over the last ten years. There are some really exciting events planned, catering for rugby players of all ages and backgrounds, and I can’t wait to get the ball rolling at the end of June.
One element that’s really important to me is the decision to support two fantastic charities, both with a meaning close to my heart. My father passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in 2018 and I’ve had first-hand experience of what MND can do to a loved one. On the local side, MND Association Jersey tirelessly support the practical needs of those living with the disease, and their families; on the larger scale, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation are carrying out invaluable research towards finding a cure, as well as raising public awareness of the issues involved.
I hope you will support me in what I’m sure will be a year to remember.” Harvey

Foreword from Mark Morgan, Chairman of Jersey Reds
“At a time when professional sport is noted more for the regularity of turnover rather than longevity in post, it is a rare privilege to introduce Harvey Biljon’s testimonial year at Jersey Reds.
Honouring 10 years with the club, Harvey joined us back in early 2014 when the club was in dire danger of being relegated. He was able to turn the club’s fortunes and kept us in the Championship with a last game win away to Bedford.
Since then, under his exemplary leadership, the Reds have established themselves as a top Championship team.
We are very proud of what he has achieved, thank him for all he’s done for us and wish him every success for this memorable year of celebration.”
